Biografija

Rikardo Druškić rođen je 1990. godine u Zagrebu, a skoro čitav život živi u Sarajevu. Još kao srednjoškolac počeo se baviti crtanjem primarno u oblasti ilustracije i digitalne umjetnosti.

Od 2009. godine do danas, Rikardo Druškić etablirao se u mladog plodotvornog umjetnika koji iza sebe ima oko tri stotine radova, koje je izlagao u Bosni i Hercegovini (Sarajevo, Mostar), ali i diljem svijeta – New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Taiwan.

U aprilu 2014. godine Rikardo Druškić plasirao se u finale takmičenja Art Revolution Competition u Taipei. Tri mjeseca kasnije, u julu 2014., njegovi radovi “Madness Continuous” i “Depth” odabrani su od strane globalne platforme za promociju savremene umjetnosti see.mee koja ova dva rada prikazuje na ekranima čuvenog Times Square-a u New Yorku. U oktobru 2014. godine Druškić je proglašen jednim od pobjednika grupne izložbe u New York-u, Gallery 25N.

U septembru 2014. godine u Galeriji Boris Smoje u Sarajevu Druškić prvi put svoje radove izlaže u sklopu samostalne izložbe “Priče o ljubavi”. Nakon Sarajeva, izložba je postavljena i u spomen kući Svetozara Ćorovića u Mostaru.

U novembru 2014. Druškić svoje radove izlaže u sklopu grupne izložbe “Zid” u Historijskom muzeju u Sarajevu, te “Post-izborna trauma” u Bosanskom kulturnom centru u Sarajevu.

Početkom 2015., Druškićev rad “Madness Continues” osvaja drugo mjesto na takmičenju “Imaginacija” u organizaciji američkog časopisa za nauku i umjetnost Mind Magazine.

U julu 2015., Druškić učestvuje u izradi vizuala na fasadi Historijskog muzeja BiH, a u povodu obilježavanja 20. godišnjice genocida u Srebrenici.

U augustu 2015. Druškićev rad “Početak” osvaja prvo mjesto u kategoriji apstraktne umjetnosti na međunarodnom takmičenju vizualne umjetnosti Art-Competition.net.

U istom periodu Druškić se pridružuje art akciji „Vizuali za Muzej“ interpretirajući temu “Zemaljski muzej BiH”. Vizuale koji su nastali u svrhu ove kampanje umjetnici su poklonili Muzeju za izradu prigodnih promotivnih materijala.

U sklopu druge samostalne izložbe pod nazivom “Gdje je izlaz?” Druškić izlaže u galeriji savremene umjetnosti “JAVA” u junu 2015. u Sarajevu.

Dvadeset Rikardovih radova bilo je izloženo i u Los Angelesu u Centru za digitalnu umjetnost – Los Angeles Center for Digital Arts (LACDA).

Druškić je i autor ilustracija za zbirku poezije pod nazivom “Tjeskoba” autora Zdravka Ostojića.

Veliko zanimanje za slikanje murala i uličnu umjetnost osiguralo mu je i učešće na Festivalu Ulične Umjetnosti (FUU) u Sarajevu i Street Art Festivalu u Mostaru, unutar kojih svoje stvaralaštvo prenosi u javni prostor kroz streetart.

Rikardo Druškić was born in 1990 in Zagreb, but almost all his life, he lives in Sarajevo. For the past seven years he has been engaged in art, ever since high school when drawing represented a unique way of fitting into the school system. His field of interest is illustration and digital art, but it spreads further, to the other forms of expression in visual arts. Today, Rikardo is a young prolific artist, he is only 26 years old and he has made around 600 works. To date, he has exhibited his work in Bosnia and Herzegovina – Sarajevo and Mostar, as well as around the world – New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Taiwan. He is one of the finalists in the Art Revolution Competition Taipei in April 2014. Three months later, in July 2014. his works “Madness Continuous” and “Depth” are selected from the group see.me, and presented at the famous Times Square in New York. The first solo exhibition entitled “Tales of Love” took place at the Gallery Boris Smoje in September 2014 in Sarajevo. The exhibition with the same title was also held in memorial home Svetozar Corovic in Mostar. He is one of the winners in collective exhibition in New York at the Gallery 25N in October 2014. In November 2014 Druskic exhibits his works within group exhibition ”The wall” in the Historical museum of Sarajevo and ”Post-election trauma” in Bosnian cultural center. The exhibition “Where is the Exit?” was organized in the gallery of contemporary art “JAVA” in June 2015. In Sarajevo. In July of 2015 he draws a mural on the Historical museum in Sarajevo that was an homage to the Srebrenica genocide. In August 2015. Druskic won the first place with his work “Beginning” in the category of abstract art at the American competition within the web site Art-Competition.net. In September 2015 his work “Madness continues“ wins the 2nd place in Mind magazine. One of his latest projects includes the illustration of the poetry book “Anguish” by Zdravko Ostojic. He was one of the main participants of the first Festival of Street Art (FUU) in September 2015 in Sarajevo, during which his creative work was transmitted into public space. In June 2016 he is a participant at the Mostar Streetart Festival. In October 2016 he draws a mural in the Sarajevo Youth Theater, which is the first time for an artist to draw in the theater world of Sarajevo, inside the theater. In December 2016 he has his first video exhibition in Sarajevo, on a 1000 m2 screen called ”Children Joy”. Today, his twenty works are exhibited in the Los Angeles Center for Digital Arts (LACD).
